Schooling: There are 7 elementary schools (grades k-4), 3 middle schools, 1 intermediate high school, and one high school.

Recreation: Numerous athletic programs are available in North Allegheny. Within the school district they offer many competitive sports teams. From Gymnastics to ice hockey North Allegheny offers just about everything.

Points of interest: North Park has a total of 3,075 acres of land which includes a family pool, a bike trail, golf course, ice skating rink, tennis courts, and a boat house. There are also numerous shopping areas there is Ross Park Mall, Northway mall, and McIntyre Square.
