Schooling: Student population of a little over 5,000. There are 5 primary schools (grades K-3rd), one elementary school (grades 4th-6th), one middle school (grades 7-8), and one high school.
Recreation: Shaler offers swim lessons, along with baseball and softball lessons. They also offer the “run for your life relay”, an annual community day, and light up night in the winter.
